Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: July 11, 2025

By registering for and attending IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism – Atlantic Canada: A Regional Event (“the Event”), all participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.1. All attendees must register online through the official registration platform.
1.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration unless otherwise arranged with the event organizers.
1.3. Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received.
1.4. The registration fee covers access to all scheduled sessions, materials, and any social events as specified.

2.1. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the organizers at conferiencer@impactatlantic.com.
2.2. Cancellations received up to 30 days before the Event will receive a full refund.

2.3. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received less than 30 days before the Event.
2.4. If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to another person. Notification of substitution must be sent to the organizers at least 5 days prior to the Event and should be submitted to stanjr@wildnfld.ca.

3.1. The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the conference schedule, program, speakers, or venue without prior notice.
3.2. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the entire Event, the organizers will refund registration fees, but will not be responsible for other costs incurred (e.g., travel, accommodation).

4.1. IMPACT Atlantic Canada is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants.
4.2. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
4.3. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
4.4. Organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action, including expulsion from the Event, without refund.

5.1. Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk.
5.2. The organizers are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expenses incurred during or as a result of participation in the Event.
5.3. Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage, including health, travel, and personal belongings.

6.1. The Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and voice in promotional materials, recordings, and media produced by or on behalf of the organizers.
6.2. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the registration desk on arrival.

7.1. The personal information provided during registration will be used solely for the purposes of event management, communication, and follow-up.
7.2. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary for the operation of the Event.

8.1. The organizers strive to make the Event accessible to all. If you require accommodations, please indicate your needs during registration or contact stanjr@wildnfld.ca at least 2 weeks before the Event.

9.1. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Newfoundland, Canada.
